📝 What You’ll Do

  • Teach engaging English language arts lessons across grammar, literature, and writing for grades 9–12
  • Foster critical thinking through discussions, close reading, and creative analysis
  • Introduce students to diverse literature, helping them explore new voices and perspectives
  • Guide students in developing strong writing skills, from essays to creative pieces
  • Create a warm, energetic classroom environment where students feel confident expressing themselves
  • Provide constructive feedback that supports growth and celebrates progress
  • Collaborate with fellow teachers to build a vibrant, literacy‑rich school culture

🎓 What You Bring

  • Degree in English or English Education
  • Valid teaching certificate for grades 9–12
  • 2+ years of teaching experience or equivalent classroom exposure
  • Expertise in grammar, literature, and writing
  • Experience working with diverse texts and promoting critical thinking
  • A joyful, student‑centered teaching style that sparks curiosity
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
