📝 What You’ll Do
- Teach engaging English language arts lessons across grammar, literature, and writing for grades 9–12
- Foster critical thinking through discussions, close reading, and creative analysis
- Introduce students to diverse literature, helping them explore new voices and perspectives
- Guide students in developing strong writing skills, from essays to creative pieces
- Create a warm, energetic classroom environment where students feel confident expressing themselves
- Provide constructive feedback that supports growth and celebrates progress
- Collaborate with fellow teachers to build a vibrant, literacy‑rich school culture
🎓 What You Bring
- Degree in English or English Education
- Valid teaching certificate for grades 9–12
- 2+ years of teaching experience or equivalent classroom exposure
- Expertise in grammar, literature, and writing
- Experience working with diverse texts and promoting critical thinking
- A joyful, student‑centered teaching style that sparks curiosity
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
